Sub-sections include items for lesbians and gay men in particular and occasionally items of particular interest to transgendered couples. FAMILY LIFE MATTERS

Our families are diverse, dynamic, and beautiful. That is why this section seeks to find and support all that is good about our families and our children, from pregnancy to childbirth and adoption to parenting. We will also periodically explore the complexity of extended-family relations, issues of particular interest to those of us who are aging, and matters of legal and financial concern. A standard sub-section on LGBT health was just added in 2011. These resources are advisary only. We do not practice law, medicine, or financial services, so do check with the professionals.

IN SEARCH OF LOVE AND SELF

We promised to support our members who are still looking for love and so we will, periodcally. True love begins with self love though, so a great deal of these articles address personal matters of happiness and spiritualiy for readers who are single or couples, LGBT or straight.

GAY PRIDE AND LESBIAN JOY

Everyone needs inspiration. In one of our early polls, we asked if having visibile same sex coupled role models mattered. Not surprisingly it does; especially for those living in isolation or closeted situations.  The bottom line is that visibility is one of the ways to move victory forward for LGBT equality in general and marriage equality in particular. At 10,000 Couples we aim to provide that inspiration with every issue to every same gender couple around the globe. Some of our biggest inspirations arise from our stories from Shelly's Soul Boosters; Someone You Must Know; and profiling couples with ceremonies and anniversaries.

LIVING THE DOMESTIC GAY LIFE

In this section we provide information and connections to resources for everyday living that includes tips ranging from home decorating and repairs to great food, beautiful gardening tips and LGBT friendly romantic travel getaways. Most of it applies to anyone, gay or straight, coupled or single, however we do look for special items of particular interest to same sex couples. We are particularly excited to have a series of feature articles from special contributors. A wonderful “drive through” Prince Edward County, Canada with Out in the County! authors Dean Munroe and Michael Deyell are currently posting.
